Aldi launches £80 tablet to rival Tesco’s Hudl

Aldi Medion Lifetab E7316

Aldi is the latest retail business to launch their own tablet in to the market,as its the low priced tablet in the market, standing at £79.99, better than their rivals, Tesco, Google's Nexus  and amazon's Kindle-Fire. The tablet offers a lower resolution screen, half the storage, a less powerful procceror and reduce battery life, It can run over 850,000 standard Android apps. The Medion Lifetab E7316 has a lot to offer like the camera and the apps which the consumer can use it. As this will be part of the millions of sales of tablet sold in the UK, As 6 million tablets were sold in the first half of the year in this country. Accoroading to the data shown, it is expected that 230 million of tablets we be sold at the end of the year around the world.

i think that Aldi have made a right decision to make their own tablet, as there is a big gap in the market of them, as tablets are the next big thing for the consumer and advertising it at a low price to a mass and wide range of people will generate sales within their business a lot. Also i think that advertising the tablet at a low price will target a lot of people to purchase their tablet then their rivals, as their rivals's tablets all cost lot of money and are much more expensive than Aldi.
