The BBC has made a deal with the owners of the Alton Towers business to create a CBeebies land at the resort, this will allow the fans of Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Postman Pat a chance to meet their favourite characters at the resort, also, the chance to go onto their branded rides and games in Alton Towers.

The BBC has made a multi pound million deal with the owners of LEGOLAND and also the iconic Madame Tussauds in London, which the CBeebies Land will be created in spring next year.

I think that this is a good investment for the BBC as they know million of children has been watching the channel for a long time with their parent, as they have found a gap in the market compared to their competition and have appealed it to their business, which will help their business a lot, as they’ll make a lot of money from this every year, if this keeps on happening.

  1. I think this is a really interesting story which Samuel has found because it involves billions of pounds of investment. I think they are making a really good decision and the investment is going to be really successful as millions of children watch Cbeebies everyday and to keep them happy their parents would take them to the resort as well if it was their.

  2. The news article based on BBC to create CBeebies Land and how the BBC is moving into the digital age through the use of interactivity. In my opinion, it will influence in the BBC making more money in the long term however I think they are exploiting children as they know its going to make money through kids wanting to visit CBeebies Land frequently. Its also like a competition between Disney now when this goes ahead.
