The Church of England has come up with a new method of teaching others, who use smart phone and are more digital with society, and has made up a new list of the nine commandments for the Twitter faithful.as they want the user to think just before they post a story or an article on the social networking site, Twitter. As they first want to you think about 'would I want my mum to read this? Would I want God to read this? And lastly, is this my story to share?

The Nine Commandment of Twitter is:
1. Don't rush in
2.Remember updates are transient, yet permanent
3.You are an ambassador for the church
4.Do not hide behind anonymity
5.Think about the blurring of public/private life boundaries
6.Safeguarding: communicating directly online is like mewing someone in private
7.Stay within the legal framework
8.Respect confidentiality
9.Be mindful of your own security

"Essentially, you should participate online in the same way as you would in any other public forums. Your actions should be consistent with your work and Christian values and you take responsibility for the things you do, say or write,"

I think that this is very weird and confusing story and raises a lot of issues within the social media factors and religion. The question is that' can we talk about religion, cultures, sexuality and race on social networking sites like Facebook and twitter, would people feel offend if someone talks about someone else religion or culture. This church is making sure that if someone does want to write something on the social media and post it, they have to follow these rules and commandments in order to avoid making this mistake.
